My experience on Craigslist is that just about everyone wants top dollar for what they are selling, Ive seen people selling used items and asking the price of what it would cost brand new. Then on the other hand you have the same people who are buying and they either want it donated, talk you down to a lower price or want it free. So greedy yet so cheap. Im interested in an item right now, have the money which is the full amount the person is asking for but do they return my email so I can come look at it? NO, very frustrating. Oh well, I say stick to your price when they show up, its their problem if they waste the gas coming to swindle you out of your asking price.
