I run Mindy's Daycare and I also am directing the Christmas Program at my church. We are a very small church with an older congregation. We have 5 kids in Sunday school and the Christmas musical calls for about 20 to 30. Practices are Sunday mornings from 9:30 am to 10:25 am and Wednesday evenings from 5:15 pm to 5:50 pm. I live with my husband and we have been together for 8 years now, he is usually at work during the day but when he is home he loves to help out with the kids whether it is giving piano lessons or teaching them phonics.

Diet is also very important in our house. Healthy home-cooked meals are made every day with big emphasis on vegetables. I love to cook and I love making delicious nutritious food for children. This morning we had homemade pumpkin bread, an organic banana and fresh squeezed orange juice.

My husband and I are both first aid/cpr certified for infants, children and adults. I have taken several early childhood development and early childhood education classes. I also have 9 years experience in the childcare field and lots of very happy references.

I have two 5 year old boys and a 7 year old boy who attend Windsor School District. The twins attend Monday and Wednesday and the eldest attends 5 days a week.

I need child care from 3 pm to 5 pm Monday/Wednesday and from 12 to 5 pm Tuesday and Thursday. So 14 hours for the boys, the oldest would only be from 340pm to 5pm the twins would be the other times.

Beginning November 9, 2009; I will be offering childcare in a faith focused learning environment. I am a single mother of one 15-year-old daughter and need something fulfilling to occupy my time during the day. I have worked with children most of my life through childcare and teaching and I think that this would be a great opportunity to open my home and help parents who need a nurturing environment for their children while working. My experience is in teaching 1st grade and working as a library tech. I would like to provide valuable lessons in reading, writing, letter and number recognition and other skills that prepare children for elementary school. I run a small in home child care so that I may have the opportunity which many of you may not have. Staying home with my children was never a reality for me until my career hit a dead end when the company relocated and I chose to stay here with my family. I have converted the entire upper (ground level) floor of my home (1,100 sq feet) into a childcare and I'm seeking a few new additions. I recently lost two of my full timers because their mother was laid off. After having them for more than a year I was devastated but I have to keep my income for my family so I am willing to take up to three more children, full or part time. I only have one part time assistant so with the 2 full timers which I currently have any more than 3 additional would be unfair to the kids. I am a big believer in children getting individual learning time with an adult as well as group play time. I read to them daily and encourage them to try new things such as walking, reading, using the big boy/girl potty, helping make lunch, etc. I have a good sized fenced back yard for fun play in the fresh air when the weather permits. I have a 230 sq foot room of nothing but toys as well as a room of similar size for them to nap or just relax quietly. I do have dogs though they aren't allowed in the daycare area. My rates are $450 for full time care which includes meals, snacks and beverages and $350 for part time. I also offer drop in rates of $30 for a full day or $15 for 4 hours or less.
