Hi! I am a Christian mom and I have a licensed in-home daycare in Mead, 3 blocks from Brentwood Elementary School (which means we walk to the playground alot!). I have a nice home in a great neighborhood. I have strong morals and values, there is no smoking/drinking/drugs or inappropriate language or TV shows. I work hard to teach my children these values and am looking for other parents who have worked hard to implement these values to their children as well. I also understand that kids will be kids, so don't feel like they have to be perfect!

We have a great kid friendly area. There is a lot to do like play-do, moon sand, games, puzzles, books, music, videos and toys. There are 3 play rooms inside. The playrooms have a Step 2 climber, playhouse and slide, a large kitchen set, a spring horse, 3 big toy boxes, bounce and spin zebra, drop 'n roar dinosaur, all the peek-a-blocks and roll-a-rounds, a little 4 wheeler, rocking horse, ball pit, the entire imaginext dinosaur collection, the crash n go speedway and much more!!! Outside, we have a huge fully fenced backyard. There are 2 big swing sets, a little one�s swing/slide combo, several little tikes climbers, cozy coupe cars, teeter totters, picnic tables, 2 sand and water tables, lots of ride on�s, bouncy balls, monster trucks, bug catchers and more. Yes, we have lots of stuff! I truly believe in putting back into the daycare. This is where the kids spend their days, every day, so they need to have nice things and a variety to keep them happy and entertained. We love to be outside, exploring, playing and getting dirty! How fun is that? Bugs and rocks are the best! In the summer we play in the water a lot, with the kiddie pools, slip n slide, sprinklers and at the end of summer, we have a great end of summer blow out party.

I make sure the kids eat healthy (per USDA guidelines) and always have fresh fruit available for snacks. Your child will become part of my family and I will love them and care for them like they were my own. You are more than welcome to spend as much time in my home to decide if we are the right fit for your family. I will also work with you on potty training, with lots of praise and encouragement for your little one. Please feel free to email me if you have ANY questions.

I do a preschool program 3 days a week (Sept.-May), learning numbers, letters, shapes and colors. We sing songs, do finger puppets, make crafts, paint, color, cut and glue. This is a full cirruculum that I purchase each month.

We also foster baby animals for the Humane Society, so your kids will get to learn hands on about animals and how to care for the littlest ones that don't have "mommy's"! All of my daycare children have bottle-fed a tiny kitten! It's sooo cute!!! When the baby animals are old enough, we return them back to the Humane Society for adoption. It's a great process and really teaches the kids about kindness and love! As for our own animals, we have a resident kitty, "Kiki". She fixed, UTD on shots, and loves the kids.

I wanted to introduce myself as an option for the childcare you are seeking.

I attended Spokane Community College and took several early childhood education classes along with American Sign Language. My children both know some sign and I use it regularly with the little ones I watch and would be happy to do the same with your child/children. In addition, I homeschooled my 6 year old and include similar early childhood learning activities into all the children�s daily routine.

I am a mother to two children, a son who is 6 and daughter who is three. My husband, children and I have lived in the Spokane Valley for the past 2 years. A little more about me and my experience:
I have had an extreme amount of experience with children beyond providing just childcare. I am CPR and first aide certified in adult/infant/newborn. I worked with Sacajawea Middle school, Chase middle school, and Audobon Elementary as a classroom assistant as well as with multiple other schools in district 81 with their A.S.A.P. programs. I was a children's art teacher, swim/water aerobic instructor and day camp aide. I taught basic sign language to a class. I was a long time library aide including story telling for summer reading programs. I have also worked in day cares where I was responsible for up to 12 children (at least 4 of those where always infants). Of course two of my own gives me lots of experience to. :)

As our children�s health is an ongoing challenge as parents I must say I feed my children naturally (lots of fruits and veggie's, organic, good stuff, not a bunch of junk) and would always care for your child/children the same.

I have structured activities. i.e.: Educational, playtime, nap time, etc for the older children and would be happy to implement the same structure with your little one as you saw fit.

Hello All! I would just like everyone to know that if you are looking for childcare any weird hours with any age kiddos I can help! I have two boys ages 26 months and 4 years and I can not miss out on anymore of these precious years! So I quit my job at a doctors clinic and now I am staying home with my boys and I am going to play ALL DARN DAY!! I am only going to take in 3 kids total for full time care and some part timers so the kids get the one-onone they need...but at this time I only have one spot left!!

I was a pre-school teacher and owned my own daycare on Travis AFB before I started working at the clinic. I am trained in CPR and First Aid and I will have a pre-school curriculum three to five mornings a week from 9:00 am to 11:00 am! As I said before my hours are these....
ANY TIME Monday - Thursday including nights
Fridays I will watch kids until 7 pm
Saturdays and Sundays I take off but some exceptions can be made sometimes!

So now to my rates....I have researched and decided that on average a stay at home mom charges $500.00 per month for full time, so that will be my rate. I do take part time as well or I will charge $100.00 a week or $25.00 a day or $5.00 an hour....YOUR CHOICE and I am very flexible to be able to work with your income as well!! I do not charge extra for over-night care!

We bake treats, we do arts and crafts, we do worksheets, learn how to write our names, we are creating a wonderful food garden in our back yard and we only have about 15 to 20 minutes of TV time a day while I cook meals!! I will give you a parent handbook just like a real center, a "boo-boo report" for the owies, and a "How's My Day" report to let you know how many bottles, what they ate, and how much they slept to keep you informed!
