509 Fabrications makes the pellet stove locally in Post Falls. It is all black and uses compressed logs instead of small pellets. The compressed logs I use are Nore Idaho Energy Logs. I've ordered them by the pallet delivered from Ace Hardware, the Country Store in Spokane Valley (they start taking orders in August and will call each year to get your order, and they help you stack it). or if you are in a pinch, you can pick them up anywhere else like Super One, North 40, Yokes, etc. It has a gravity-fed feeder, so you add 3 compressed logs into the pipe, and it'll burn all night long. Our rental house is very old (built in 1900) and has no insulation, but this kept our house toasty warm. We've used it for the last two winters. We are moving to a house with a wood stove and can't take this pellet stove we bought for our house rental. The bricks inside are new, and the stove is cleaned out and ready to be installed.

The last three pics are close-ups from the original listing, but ours has the same design work. Originally $3795 before tax.

Here is the info from the designers.

509-1 Optimum Stove, our original patented design, kindled by an idea to keep homes warm through the night. This is our residential stove, producing the greenest heat available today. Fully loaded, the Optimum Stove burns through the night. With a Hot Air Igniter for fire starting and a damper to control heat output, you can control the settings for the needs of your home. Two layers of firebrick line the firebox. Electricity is required to burn. Two low-amp motors on the back are used for exhaust and the convection heat room blower. (2.9 Amps total)
