Rare (one year) 1947 Coleman 413C w brass plate brown tank camp stove - $125 (NW Spokane)

Coleman began making these in 1947 and this is the 47 model which was only produced like this for one year with brown painted Solodur tank, a brass model tag on the front of the case, and lacks the Coleman parallelogram decal on the inside of the lid that was added in 1948.
The flat bar on the cover that fold with the wind winds was designed by Coleman originally to fold over to make the lid a flat work surface. It wasn’t until 1949 that Coleman advertised that the flat bar could be turned over the top when lid is vertical to serve as a towel rack
A rare find for the Coleman collector and yes the also Rare brown fuel tank that sought after because it was used on much older Coleman stoves and is in great condition inside and out.
