I purchased this Solas prop brand new, but after installing it and taking the boat out, found out that it was to much prop (17 pitch) for the size and weight of the boat. It took to long to get the boat on plane, so after one outing I decided to go with a lower pitch (15 pitch) prop. The boat is a heavy 25 foot with cabin and has a small block 350 chevy engine, so would imagine a boat smaller around 16'-22' would be fine. The part # of the prop is Solas 8611-148-17 and will fit the Volvo Penta SX drives with 19 tooth spline, and possibly OMC. These retail new for approx $150 plus tax and shipping so is a bargain at $75.00 for as new. Best to call or text Here is some more info about it.
