this bracket was used to transfer outboards on pallets.. could be used for trolling motors, like on pontoon boat...steel (will rust) 0.084" thick...

I would not use it with a 40 HP outboard and a boat. more like boat and 15 horsepower max. this bracket would be too flimsy for anything bigger than 15 horsepower
