My name is Miranda and I am a native of Washington and have lived in Spokane since 2017. I’ve taught middle school math and science since 2004 at a variety of locations including abroad. Unique minds are my thing! I have experience teaching gifted students, multi-lingual learners, and many students served by special education. It’s important for me to build connections with students to help instill confidence and growth that will blossom into leadership qualities. This is one of the reasons I enjoy working with the Girl Scouts in my free time.
I am very motivated to support student progress for families. I can assist in a variety of subjects (biology, chemistry, physical science and mathematics) through high school age, as well as preparation for qualifying exams. Examples of subjects I tutor are: Middle School math/English, SAT, GED, and COMPASS Test Prep, reading, algebra, GRE math, and more!
