You want fast? You got it. You want handling? For a big cruiser this handles much better than you'd expect. You want a loud pipe? You'll just have to light this up. What is it?
The Triumph Rocket III was damn good stock, but this bike never was stock. Carpenter Racing has a dealer relationship with Triumph and they took this 2008 Rocket and massaged it with their 210+ top-end work and added their Street Rod exhaust header/pipe combo (I hope you like loud.) What you end up with is 227 Horsepower and 177 lb.ft.Torque at the rear wheel. This work includes a Power Commander V tuner.
So what's it like to ride? 60 mph in 1st gear. Over 120 in 3rd. And it just keeps pulling, pulling, pulling...
I've added a shorty windscreen, floorboards, removed the passenger pillion and pegs, crash bars, bar-end mirrors and Viking hard bags on removable mounts.
I bought the bike directly from Carpenter in June of 2014. It arrived with 26 miles on it. It still has less than 5000 on it and that's why I'm selling. I just don't ride often enough to keep it. What do you get? This bike (stock) retailed at $15000. Carpenter 210+ pkg. = $4800. Carpenter Street Rod pipe (polished) $1600. I want $10,750 and that's a bargain.
Cash in hand, a license with an endorsement, and a helmet gains you a test ride -don't forget to bring your balls! ;-) (Ed. note, I know chicks that ride Rockets, and you're more than welcome to try this one on for size!)
