OUTSTANDING CONDITION- AS NEW, IN CASE.
This early 1990's un-engraved P. Mauriat PMST 285 "Grand Dreams" tenor was private labeled to "The Woodwind" company, South Bend, IN and sold in 1992 as a graduation present to a student of the highly acclaimed Interlocken Academy of Music,and is laser engraved in very small scale as such. It is in almost perfect condition, with 100% lacquer finish intact, no dents or dings, and with very little play time on the pads and corks. Recently purchased from an estate sale after 30 years in storage, this horn has all the power and resonance that the P. Mauriat French brass horns are known for. Current production models are sold by Sweetwater for $4295, and you can go to their website and read all about the construction and design details of this series. The unique color and finish certainly sets this tenor apart, and the action and response is outstanding! Complete with mouthpiece,ligature,cap,reeds,cleaning swab, and in a hard shell case, all that is missing is the floral engraving!
