Finally selling my second to last guitar, Between my daughter and I we had five, but for the last four years, I only play my semi-hollow body. No reason this guitar needs to hang on my wall when someone else could enjoy it
It is a fender squire Stratocaster and the guy I bought it from upgraded the bridge pick up to a Seymour Duncan hot rail $100 upgrade (gives it a warmer/richer sound. Makes it not so (“Twangy”) he also upgraded to a fender neck/headstock. Those go for $70. And also a super cool custom pick guard $30
You can buy a brand new fender squire Strat for $170 + $100 for the pick up, $70 for the neck and $30 for the pick guard = $380 into this guitar
It is sea foam green and is not have one blemish on the body or neck.
This would be a great second guitar for somebody that likes fender. And obviously a great first guitar. You buy this now and in a few years, you can get a straight up fender Strat and it will feel just like this one. No adjustment to the
new guitar. The only pitfall is that it is missing the high E string.
Now here’s what I’m throwing in for free:
- high quality comfortable strap($30)
- specific fender neck adjustment tool that came with the guitar
- an underrated amp that I only paid $100 for, but the amount of settings on it is insane. It is only 10 W so you can’t go on stage with this thing, but if you turn it up to 11, it is too loud for a large room. The downside with that is, you will have to source a power cord for it. I am guessing you could pick up a universal power cord from Walmart for $16.
- $27wall hanger that has never been used. New inbox.
- turns out I have a full set of strings that I just found in a random drawer
-couple picks
This is an all in one package, you have everything you need other than the universal power cord.
This is perfect for somebody who wants to buy in one fell swoop everything you would need for the five years. again, other than the universal power cord for the amp
