Trigg is also a great companion as he craves that one on one attention. He does love baths and loves his tugg pole that has to be staked 6 ft in the ground so he doesn’t pull it out and he will spend hours playing with it. Trigg loves walks but likes to pull so he will need someone who can give him some leash training. He is usually locked in a crate all day while the owners are at work because he does love getting into the trash while they are away and he also sleeps in a crate at night so I’d like to see him end up somewhere that he’s not being crated all the time and again someone that has a lot of time to devote to him.
I would also like to see the new owner neuter him as I think that will help a bit with his behavior and I don’t want him just being used as a breeder. Trigg also does have a sensitive ear and will always alert you when someone or something is nearby. Bottom line is this boy really needs someone who is able to give him lots of love, someone who has the time to devote to him and his training and preferably someone with some property but at a bare minimum you must have a fenced yard so he can get out and run and play while being enclosed and safe in his yard.
Trigg is an awesome dog but just needs someone who can commit fully to him and his needs and I know in return he will be the best boy and will be your best friend!! I am asking a rehoming fee of $150 to make sure that the person who gets him is serious and he doesn’t just go to anyone wanting a dog on a whim.
I will be screening applicants and then those that I think are qualified I’ll direct you to his owner so your able to meet him / pick him up. I will be picky as I don’t want to see him in this position again and really want him to find the best fit and his forever home.
