Hello, I am 19 years old and in search of work for the spring and summer. I have a lot of experience working with many types of livestock in different operation setups both professional as a job and personally and have a good work ethic. I am not a super experienced rider but am comfortable at a walk and trot but would not love improving my skills under someone willing to invest in me. I learn extremely quickly when I am hands on with someone willing to teach me. I have been in both FFA and 4H and have experience in a cattle sale yard as well. While I don’t have a full college degree, I have taken biology and science of animal husbandry courses through college. I am not super experienced with it but I can use a stick welder and an oxy acetylene torch. I am good when following safety precautions and have experience with power tools. I can lift over 50 lbs and don’t mind hard work and rough weather. I am semi familiar with plenty of other odd skills so lending a hand under supervision I can help with things such as framing a wall, laying conduit, and pouring concrete from doing projects on my own property. I don’t have much experience in the way of running heavy equipment or tractors but I learn quickly. I can drive a 4-wheeler and a side by side. I have a clean drivers license and my own vehicle. I also have experience around kids. I have my OSHA 10 agricultural industry safety certification as well as CPR, First Aid, AED certification for infant pediatric and adult. I do not drink, smoke, vape, or do drugs of any type. My work is my focus and I put 110% into all that I do. I can provide a resume upon request. I am an honest hard worker that will respect you and put in the effort even though I don’t have much experience in several of the skills that are typically wanted for ranch/farm hands. I can commute for work but am not in a position to relocate at the moment.
(I will not respond to inappropriate messages. I am looking for some honest, hard work. Preferably on a farm or ranch)
