Because of the special hitch, the trailer is forced to follow exactly the direction of the towing vehicle: both forward and REVERSE. This makes it perfect for situations where backing is difficult: especially behind a motorhome. This trailer simply cannot jacknife! Backing up is as easy as backing with nothing attached. And because it is considered an extension of the vehicle it is attached to, they can be mounted behind a trailer already being towed…… such as a camp trailer, 5th wheel, or toy hauler.
As shown in the photos, Swivelwheel is equipped with lights for increased visibility and the hitch fits a standard 2” receiver. Safety chains complete the connection to your vehicle of choice. Factory outriggers (with wheels) support the front when it is disconnected from the tow vehicle.
My Swivel Wheel seen here has a custom made aluminum box frame and a custom made (expensive) waterproof canvas cover: making it perfect for hauling extra gear that needs to be protected ex. Luggage, coolers, camping gear, firewood, etc.,etc. The box is easily removable converting it back to a flat deck for hauling bikes, atv’s, etc. An extra set of outriggers with wheels were added to the rear as well.
I installed a brand new wheel and tire less than 400 miles ago and re-packed the wheel bearing at the same time. An additional NEW unused wheel and spare tire are included. I am also including a hitch extension if needed that moves the trailer away from the towing vehicle to allow for opening the hatch or tailgate.
