This is an original that was made in England 1783. It was a release of a mortgage. It was a legal transaction with all the seals and original signatures. My wife worked at a title office and worked with many attorneys. Probably the most prominent attorney in the valley at the time had a real liking and much respect for her. He wanted to show her appreciation for all the work she did for him and gave her this indenture. My wife passed away three months ago and I am clearing things out of the house. This is an unique collectors item. Many people may not know what an indenture is,even those in the title business. It is in excellent condition and writing is very legible.The attached picture does not give it justice but it is not tore nor any marks on in. The frame is of a high quality. This would be a great picture to hang in the office of a professional business. Darn I could not get a good photo but I guarantee the indenture is in excellent condition and print is very legible.
