We decided to sell our potters wheel. It's a 1970's Scutt & Sons Model B. This is fairly heavy duty and all mechanical. I made a very sturdy wooden stand for it. The lead weighted pedal controls the speed through an infinitely variable belt drive. It's very powerful with a simple AC motor and at max speed doesn't turn too fast like the modern electronically controlled wheels. There's no expensive electronics to burn out. Old but good. Comes with 4 bats, and a proper height stool.
