These are heavy duty, rugged devices, designed for mobile or fixed location applications (government, industrial, commercial, etc), primarily used to establish a cellular link as well as a router function with multiple RJ45 connections (there is no built-in Wi-Fi on these, but an access point would be easy to add if needed). They also have GPS capability and external monitoring input. They sold for over $1,000 new.
Sierra Wireless (now Semtech) also provides an optional remote monitoring service if required.

*I use mine that way, activated on the Verizon network for home internet. You may want to check with your provider about activation.
I have two of these setups for sale (priced per setup). Both are tested, reset to factory settings, and have clean IMEI's.
They are currently registered and managed with Sierra Wireless, with warranty through August 2026. You can activate with your carrier without transferring, but you'll need to transfer registration to make any warranty claims. I'm happy to help with that.
