Southbend Stationary Gas - Self Contained Steam Kettle
Model KSLG-30 Natural Gas powered with 2 Amp 110V Controles
Serial Number: 94970-5MM-1464 Made approximately 2015.
Story: The Southbend 30 gallon steam kettle was part of a bankrupt bakery business equipment suite that was purchased in a building that I have used for cosmetics and soap manufacturing from 2019 to present. The kettle received little use from bakery service and my company used the kettle sparingly to heat purified water to a controlled temperature in a cosmetics manufacturing process. The kettle is stainless with a 30 gallon capacity, hinged lid and about 1.75” screw valve for content empty. The kettle is equipped with a custom floor rolling stainless reservoir for cleaning the kettle. A rolling wash and rinse reservoir.
