The Universal R-310 Labeling Machine is still sold new by Universal today at about $6k, with factory parts and service available. There are are plethora of China made labeling machines available, but typically you will be sorry for many reasons.
Story: We used three of these machines to apply labels to jars and bottles. They will apply labels to bottles up to about 8 oz, and very small. The adjustable container carriage is made to universally fit and can even be used for containers with non-parallel sides. An operator typically sits in front of the machine, moves products right to left through the lifting mechanism and operation control is applied by foot switch. Our business has less work, we could lighten the inventory of labeling machines by two, and keep one. All three machines were serviced and rebuilt about three years ago, with little use since.
