PRICE DROP. Custom cedar strip canoe, 16 feet, hand built by the late craftsman Bruce Oxford, based on the specs/materials of the Lakefield cedar strip canoes built by master craftsman Walter Walker. This canoe has been well cared for at Priest Lake since it was constructed, and is now on the market to the right person who will appreciate the quality. It is a functional piece of art. This canoe has made many memorable trips from Beaver Creek Camp Association, around Mosquito Bay, up the Thorofare to explore Upper Priest Lake and back. 16 feet in length, with removable cedar floor boards, wicker seats and hand crafted paddles. Always stored under cover. Construction spec sheet and materials list included. Please see the pictures to appreciate the beauty of this rare canoe. Note the quality construction with crafted keel, gunwales, ribs and thwarts. Brass fittings throughout.
All proceeds will be donated to a local (Priest Lake watershed) environmental protection non-profit, the Selkirk Conservation Alliance. $1900.00 obo. No trades.
