A few features:
• I built in a reinforced casting deck, so you can sight fish in shallow water. The seat is reinforced and very stable, and then the foot-controlled trolling motor is right in front of you.
• The main motor is brand new - built in 2022, I've put less than 10 hours on it (it's still in the break-in period). The previous motor left me stranded on the water 3 times, and I decided I never want to deal with that again. This Yamaha 15 is the most reliable thing on the planet.
• I'll include the fish finder - the transducer is connected to the trolling motor - but technically it's a standalone unit, so you can take it off the boat to go ice-fishing or whatever. I've also built storage spaces into the casting deck to keep the fish finder and battery out of the elements.
• Under the casting deck is a redneck live-well - lift up the casting deck platform and toss the fish into the igloo cooler. Fill it up with a few gallons of water and you're in business.
• Trailer is reliable and has guide poles installed, so that you can launch and retrieve the boat very easily. The boat is very light and easy to manage by yourself.
