Here's the second from top model Yamaha R-8 Receiver from the mid 80s. Just behind the R-9. It's rated at a legit 85 WPC, has a really excellent FM Tuner with digital fine tuning, and a great phono section with MM/MC settings. It has plenty of power, can handle low impedance loads and drive most speakers with ease. Sounds great and in perfect working order. Comes with remote.

Cosmetically nice. Drop down front panel which conceals some controls has a damaged hinge. I rigged up a wedge to keep it in place. As you can see, it holds in place when closed just fine.

Throwing in a very clean condition Yamaha CDC-585 5 disc CD Player with Play exchange. This allows you to change or load cds while still playing the current one.

A Yamaha remote control to operate both units is included.
