The Western Digital TV Live Hub is a media player with an internal 1TB hard drive for storing movies and music. It features a pre-installed media player app, making it very user friendly. It's capable of streaming music, and HD digital content up to 1080p resolution (it will work with a 4K TV no problem, your TV will upscale). The WD TV Live Hub also functions as a NAS device allowing users to access content across your network. I'm including a Linksys AE1000 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter for wireless functionality, in case you're not able to plug a LAN cable into it directly. I've been using this as the main media source in my home cinema system for years and it's been fantastic!
