Operations Quartermaster
Are you the person who loves turning chaos into clarity?
Do you get satisfaction from organizing complex information into clean, executable systems?
Do you enjoy being both the planner and the doer—the one who builds the plan and then brings it to life?
Are you wired to catch the missing detail before it becomes a problem at an event?
Would you thrive in a role where you own the flow of information—from timelines and pack lists to the physical execution of every item leaving the warehouse?
Our catering company is quickly moving to the forefront of the event and food service industry. Our employees stay ahead of industry trends and are known for exceptional customer satisfaction through continual training provided by our company. We are a company that thrives on our employees' ideas and passion. We are raising our current team's expectations, improving how we do business, innovating the products we offer, and creating a culture that recognizes the work of our employees.
As the Event Operations Lead, you are responsible for bridging the gap between event planning and event execution. You will work within our technology stack to review, edit, and organize event details—ensuring that every timeline, staffing plan, rental, décor item, and piece of equipment is accounted for and ready to go.
You won’t just build the plan—you’ll execute it.
Your day-to-day activities will include managing and refining pack lists, organizing event data and documentation, coordinating timelines and staffing details, and creating the physical event assets needed for execution. You will be pulling, packing, staging, and tracking all event-related equipment, supplies and décor, while maintaining organization, inventory accuracy, and warehouse standards.
You will also be responsible for shipping and receiving event loads, inventory replenishment, and ensuring that every item that leaves—and returns to—the warehouse is accounted for and event-ready.
While this role is primarily based behind the scenes, you will occasionally support on-site event execution as a member of the event team.
Within the next year, you will have had a key role in improving the accuracy, efficiency, and organization of our event operations—directly impacting our ability to execute events at the highest level.
Full-service catering or event operations experience is highly recommended in order to be a good fit for this position.
If you are up to the challenge, please send us your resume along with a half-page write-up on what you feel your most successful event (or operational process you built) has been and why.
We think your accomplishments are much more important than your resume and we’ll read them first.
