We are looking for a busser to join our team at The Chalet Restaurant.
Located on the South Hill, we are a family owned and operated establishment that has been in business over 40 years. We serve American diner comfort food; breakfast served all day! We have a tight knit team, many of whom have worked there for years, & regulars who have been coming in for decades.
Busser Requirements:
- available Mon-Fri 8AM-3:30PM (sometimes off earlier, sometimes later depending on closing needs)
- have/or get a WA state food handler card
- uniform of black non-slip shoes, black pants, black polo type shirt, belt if needed
- be able to lift 25lbs repeatedly and regularly
- experience preferred
- English speaking
Duties will include: Clearing tables of dishes and condiments, cleaning, resetting with silverware. Bringing bus tubs to dishwashing area in back, processing dishes through cleaning station, putting them away. Cleaning bathrooms, floors, emptying trashes. Greet customers when they arrive, answer phone as needed. With time/training, seating customers and getting drinks. Must be able to work fast paced with a smile while balancing duties on the floor and those in the back.
Pay is $18/hr + tip out (which is significant)
Reliability, punctuality, positivity, & the ability to work both independently & with a team are traits we are looking for. We have established protocols & need an enthusiastic employee who can adopt our systems.
We are open Mon- Fri 7:00AM-3:00PM, Sat & Sun 7:00AM-2:00PM
