Gander and Ryegrass is a from-scratch restaurant in downtown Spokane. Our lunch service is built around SaltBox Sandwich Co.—a fast-paced, to-order sandwich program using house-made bread and high-quality ingredients.
We’re hiring a lunch line cook to run that station.
This is an active service role. You’ll be building sandwiches to order during a busy lunch rush while keeping your station organized, stocked, and clean. Timing, consistency, and attention to detail matter—every sandwich needs to go out right, even when tickets stack up.
We’re looking for someone who:
Can move with urgency during service without losing control
Stays organized and clean under pressure
Communicates well with the team during a rush
Takes pride in executing simple food at a high level
This is not a tasting menu position. It’s a line cook role focused on lunch service and real-time execution. If you like the rhythm of a busy line and dialing things in, you’ll do well here.
