It measures 15" x 13" It is constructed with individual knots. It is thick, not thin. It appears to be old, but the colors are still strong, and it is simply nice to behold. I have always thought it came from some Marketplace in Iran, Iraq, or Turkey etc., where they are into the making and selling of Rugs. This could have been a sample piece to be used in a special ordered Rug. I am a buyer, seller, collector, lover, of odd things, especially artful global things.

We have only used this piece a couple of times to display various items on, and it remains in very good condition. This is just a little downsizing of something nice that can be used in many different ways and always look very pleasing. Best wishes. JD
