I have 3 quail I'm looking to rehome. Two of them are cournix and one is a celedon. There are two females and one male. The females are active layers. I got them back in May/June sometime as babies. They all had splay leg, which I took the time to fix, and they are all healthy and doing well now, walking normally.
These would be great starter quails for anyone interested in quails, or if you're in an area you can't have chickens. The females will let you hold them, but not so much the male. The male will also need to be separated from the females as he tends to beat up on them a little too much. Getting more females for him would solve this problem, but I can't do that at this time.
Im only rehoming because I have a small place right now, and had to bring them inside for winter, which I just don't have the room for. I was keeping them outside in the summer, but I have no where outside to hook up heat lamps and didn't want them getting cold. They come with their bag of food/feeder/waterers, and could throw in their inside cage I have them in currently for an extra $15 if you're needing one.
Please don't message me if you are only wanting them for meat. I would like them to go to a good home where they will be cared for, as I have spent a lot of time with them especially when it came to fixing their feet. I'm asking a small rehoming fee just to ensure that go to a home that will take care of them. These babies were determined to live even when they had their deformities, and I'd like to let them continue to live their lives out.
