Five-year-old AQHA gelding,14.3h, has been in the arena and out on trails. In the arena, he walks, trots, lopes. He has a killer stop and his soft feel and back are good. On the trail, he Watches his feet when crossing downfall, rocks and does great going through brush and over bridges. Crosses small streams without issues have not had him across a large river at this point. He does not seem to be overly spooky on trails and I did ride him out alone. He had 60 days with Laverack Horsemanship and was rode out on low level trails consistently May/ June last year and was exposed to deer, turkeys and coyotes. He was also exposed to hikers, baby strollers, babies in backpacks, and bikes.
I bought this horse last year, thinking he was further along than he is. Needs an experienced rider.
