Handsome thoroughbred gelding 3/4/2017, 16hh. Healthy, sound, green broke.
Has been saddled and ridden by previous owner, and he said he would take him on long trail rides often. I also watched him ride him no issue, however, I've not been on him myself. I have had him for roughly 1 1/2 years, I got him as a pasture pet and he's not getting along with the crew unfortunately. Will need someone with trust building skills, he appears to be more at ease around females. Picks up feet fine, leads, ties, needs a little coaxing to get in the horse trailer. He is too much for me and I will not be helping load him. Stands still when being sprayed with water, lets me spray him when he's just out in the pasture standing there. Typical thoroughbred skittishness however once he knows something is there he couldn't care less about things like the backhoe/tractor, gunshots, fireworks, 4 wheeler, etc. He is fine with dogs/cats.
Other than that I don't know a whole lot about him, he's just been camping out in my pasture. Introduced him to apples and carrots as I don't think he's had them before. I feel bad for the guy and hate to see him go, in a perfect world I would just keep him, but there's too much restlessness going on in the herd and someone needs to go, unfortunately it is him. $2100 obo, just want the guy to have a good life. If the ad is still posted, I still have him. Everything I know about him is written here in this post. If interested, come see him. 5zero9-318-9two83
Photos 4,5,6 are from before I owned him, the rest are from last year. I do not have videos to send. Have Jockey Club papers.
