Cotton Patch Geese
I am a conservation breeder of Cotton Patch Geese.
I will have a limited availability of, goslings, juveniles and adults.
The ultimate homestead goose.
Cotton Patch geese are an American landrace breed of goose.
They are dimorphic, auto-sexing and hatch through adulthood. The geese (females) are dove gray (solid) or saddlebacked (pied), ganders (male) are predominantly white.
They have pink bills and feet, with blue eyes.
They are a medium sized goose.
Laying 20-30 large goose eggs a season.
They are wonderful parents, as the goose sits devotedly the gander watch’s of her and guards her. They both watch and protect goslings once hatched.
Epic forgers, eating weeds and grass
They can fly, thankfully mine have always stayed home and put themselves to bed at night. The ability to fly is a big plus in getting away from predators.
They also make a fantastic roasting goose.
$75.00-$125.00 depending on age and availability.
