I’ve been working on a new vertical planter design to help get the most out of a small garden footprint, and I finally have a few ready for local pickup. If you’ve looked these up online, you know they usually go for $200+ with shipping (seriously, check Etsy). Since I’m building these right here in the Valley, you can skip the shipping fees and get a better-built product.
The Details:
Capacity: 24 planting holes (6 on each side) plus the entire top section. You can easily fit 25–30 strawberry plants or herbs in just about one square foot of deck space.
Material: Built from cedar, I’ve sanded them down for a cleaner look, but left them natural so they are 100% food-safe and rot-resistant.
Build Quality: I don't skimp on the assembly, these are fastened with wood glue, screws, and extra internal supports on every side. They are solid.
Dimensions: Stands 22 5/8" tall, 13 3/4" long, and 12 3/4" wide. The planting depth is just over 21", giving your roots plenty of room to move.
Drainage: Already has drainage holes drilled in the bottom so you don't have to worry about root rot.
The holes are a standard 2" diameter, which makes it easy to pop in nursery starts from the local garden center.
Note: This is for the cedar planter only (plants/soil not included).

Oh and be sure to check out my other listings! I also make a few different cedar planting boxes, including one that has a deep planting base so you do things like tomatoes, as well as a tall planter that eliminates any bending over for your gardening needs!
