9-Year-Old Grade Mare – 15 Hands
This 9-year-old grade mare stands approximately 15 hands tall and is looking for an experienced rider who appreciates a gritty, sensitive horse with plenty of try.
She neck reins, stands tied, flexes nicely, loads and hauls well, and will carry a flag. She has pushed cattle and has been roped off of for fun in the past, though it has been several years. She will also swim through water without hesitation.
This mare is not for kids or beginner riders. She is very sensitive and quick on her feet. She came from a severely abusive situation before I owned her, and while she has made tremendous progress, she can still be skittish on the ground. Because of this, she does best as a one-person horse and would benefit from additional groundwork.
She is up to date on vaccines and deworming. She will need a farrier appointment and must wear shoes to remain sound.
