We are a licensed children's residential facility looking for motivated, passionate, and energetic individuals to join our team for the summer months. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6am-12pm or 7am-1pm. If you enjoy helping developmentally disabled children and teens develop essential life skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This role involves documenting activities and administering medications. Requirements include:
- Being at least 21 years old
- Having a high school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience working with children or in developmental care
- Owning a reliable vehicle with valid insurance
- Passing both state and federal background checks
- Committing to work through August 31, 2025
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to safely support clients in a variety of physical situations. This may include assisting with movement, de-escalation, or emergency interventions when necessary.
Must be able to independently lift or support at least 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and remain physically engaged for extended periods of time
Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
