Are you someone who takes pride in keeping buildings clean, safe, and looking their best? Fairmount Memorial Association is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Facilities Maintenance & Janitorial Technician to help care for our offices, funeral homes, mausoleums, columbariums, and memorial properties throughout the Spokane area.
No two days are exactly the same. You'll spend your time maintaining beautiful facilities, completing cleaning tasks, handling minor repairs, and helping ensure our locations remain welcoming for the families we serve.
What You'll Do:
Clean and maintain offices, funeral homes, mausoleums, and other facilities
Sanitize restrooms, dust, vacuum, mop floors, and empty trash
Clean windows and common areas as needed
Replace light bulbs and furnace filters
Perform carpet cleaning and minor painting projects
Complete basic interior and exterior repairs
Tighten furniture and fixtures and respond to maintenance requests
Clean and maintain mausoleums twice weekly
Assist with annual cleaning and upkeep of columbariums, private mausoleums, and buildings
Coordinate larger repair projects with outside vendors when needed
Help maintain a safe, professional environment across all locations
What We're Looking For:
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine physical tasks
Valid driver's license preferred

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Primarily weekday hours, with occasional evening or weekend work for carpet cleaning and special projects.
