Job Summary:
Looking to hire herbicide applicator that has experience in the construction industry. Must be able to work independently and be adaptable to an ever-changing schedule. Communicate effectively with customers and have experience supervising at least 1 other applicator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing the phone business, 6am – 6pm Monday - Friday
• Schedule upcoming jobs
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits
• Pesticide Application & Handling (prep, mixing, application, equipment maintenance, safety and disposal)
• Keep accurate records of applications and customer interactions
• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly
• Performing direct spray jobs/tasks
• Adhering to strict pesticide laws and regulations
• Prioritizing safety and legal compliance
• Managing chemical inventory
• Small engine operation and maintenance
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
• Assist with parking lot striping division
Qualifications & Skills:
• WSDA Pesticide License (or reciprocal Idaho Pesticide License)
• A valid Driver’s License
• Certification in Rights of Way (have the certification, or be able to obtain within two months)
• Ability to work independently
• Management skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Great Communication
Working Conditions & physical demands:
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Driving for extended periods of time
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay range: $27 - $30 / hour
