Part time position requiring the transportation of waste to landfill and occasionally the pick up/drop off of materials to Airtech project sites.
Key Job Specifications & Requirements:
Licensing: Must have valid WA state driver's license and current DOT Medical Certificate. (we can also provide DOT physical if needed)
Experience: 1-3+ years, trailer operation.
Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to federal and state traffic laws, safety regulations
Physical Ability: Ability to perform inspections, secure loads, and in some cases, lift or move freight.
Documentation: Waste shipment records and Manifests
Skills: Strong communication, time management, and route planning skills using electronic maps.
Primary Responsibilities:
Driving: Safely operating tandem axle trailers for long distances including city and highway. Must have enough skill to maneuver trailers into tight areas. We will teach you how to use our roll off trailer system.
Inspection: Conducting rigorous daily checks on tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels.
Cargo Handling: Ensuring cargo is properly secured, distributed, and inspected.
Communication: Reporting delays, accidents, or maintenance issues to our logistics manager.
Maintenance: Performing basic, minor repairs or maintenance when necessary.
Hourly rate dependent on experience:
Clocking in and out on the company app required.
