2003 Honda ST1300 118K miles $2000
A sweet, sweet touring bike….
I have added many items to this bike … no bling but lots of things to make touring fun, smooth, comfortable, quiet, and safe.
Here’s the list…. if you are not familiar with the equipment please google the websites and see why this is probably the nicest touring Wing out there.
1. Traxxion Dynamics setup which includes new forks rebuild and springs, new rear Penske monoshock and spring….please google this to get the whole build ….. cost…. About $3000 but was worth every penny….
2. After market ST windshield ….. cost $300
3. Additonal 6K driving lights mounted below mirrors….. swithchable from front left handle bar a great nighttime addition and also safer driving with them on during the day … stock headlights are pretty poor at night time.
4. Additional LED lights mounted on forks to enhance bike visibility to oncoming traffic and additional lighting at night switchable from left handle bar
5. Installed a RAM mount ball used one for Garmin Nuvi GPS or Radar detector (detector and GPS not included but wiring is}
6. Added additional ‘flashing’ brake LED lights and continuous moving LED bar to increase safety
7. Valves adjusted
8. Bike is currently ‘Darkside’…. Running a car tire on rear lots of tread left on both front and rear….
9. Honda factory repair manual
Runs like a Honda and is a very fun and dependable sport touring bike. I have spent many hours touring on this bike and hate to sell it but at 78 with numerous health problems I seldom ride the ST. It will be way happier out touring than sitting in the garage. Bike has spent its life in Arizona... no snow, no rain, always garaged and no rust
