Atlas Staffing is hiring Assemblers for an assembly and distribution company in the technology industry. This is a full-time long-term temporary position that may become permanent located in Liberty Lake. Apply now for this great opportunity!
*Responsibilities:
-Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and receives verbal instructions regarding the assembly of mechanical products.
-Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, and other holding devices.
-Operates small hand and power tools to assemble products.
-Operates manual and electronic equipment to test and analyze assembled products.
-Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
-Crimps, screws, bolts, rivets, cements, press fits, and performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
-May be required to operate a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck.
-Maintains a clean, well-organized and safe work area incorporating lean manufacturing techniques.
-Contributes to a flexible and productive team environment with active participation and suggestions for improvement.
*Qualifications:
-Ability to read, write legibly, and process basic math as typically acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
-Experience with lean manufacturing preferred but not required.
-Experience working in a team environment preferred.
-Comfortable with hand tools and power tools
-Ability to read a tape measure
*Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
*Wage: $17.50-$17.50/hr.
