This is a beautifully original finished and rebuilt internals 3-stop Beckwith Organ Company of Chicago. It looks like a regular old upright piano with 3 pedals which looks like a piano (But, it's only half the weight because of no cast iron harp.) The top half of it is empty....the bottom half of the instrument has all the organ parts. Works fine except the bottom 7 keys and the top 7 keys. Maybe it was built like that. It has the original 4-legged glass-footed piano chair which is worth about $300 by itself. It was rebuilt in the 60's or 70's and was always in the family. It's been sitting in the house for decades.
I had never seen an organ like this. I just went through all 6 pages of eBay's pump organs and there's only one other that even has piano-like pedals. This Beckwith does not look like something out of the Victorian age like 99% of them. I was told that this was a transition instrument from when organs were the thing to where pianos were the thing so that's why it's quite rare.
Actually, just now, I found one that looks a lot like mine but not as shiny. It's the very last one on the list so I guess mine is a 1908 instrument also. Mine has a shiny finish; this one is mini-cracked. https://www.reedsoc.org/index.php/rosdb/ros_search?name=BECKWITH+ORGAN+CO.®No=&nm=1&ctry=1&ser=1&info=1&mklc=1&modl=1&ymStrt=&ymEnd=&stopStrt=&stopEnd=&cStyl=0&showOrg=1&showGel=1&showRodenburg=1&advanced=&type=Search Organ #3503 at the bottom of the first page looks a lot like mine.
