I've owned it for a couple of years and it has that "Marshall" sound in spades. The head is a 1989 (AKA black jubilee) only the 1987's had the silver tolex. The cab is a JCM800 #1937 (2nd version which is all plywood construction) with the stock Celestion G12T-75 (also 2nd version). Both speakers have the same date code HU 11 20 = Aug 11 1986.
