I am selling my vintage Dimebag-inspired rack gear. All of these items are being sold AS-IS. I have listed the gear in its accurate state, and the amount of needed repair. All gear turns on and appears to perform all functions as described below.
80’s Made in USA Randall RG100HT rack mounted 100 watt solid state amp. There are no solid state repair places around where I live, so I can not fix the issue that it currently has. Channel 1 “green channel” functions perfectly and is fully operational. Channel 2 “red channel” comes on, but the volume will not increase beyond a very quiet sound regardless of gain and volume knobs, when plugged straight into a cab from the amp output. BUT- when the line out is used and plugged into a slave amp- Channel 2 becomes fully functional and achieves all desired high-gain tones this amp is known for. There must be some kind of issue with the internal connections between the preamp and power section, but without an amp repairman willing to work on it here in town- I want to sell to someone who either is willing to use a slave rig or can have it fixed. This amp is in decent condition for a nearly 40 year old piece of gear
Rocktron HUSH Super C noise gate. Just like Dime used. It is simple, plug and play. It works as well as it should BUT is missing the power cord. It takes a simple 9v standard power supply that would be used for any stompbox pedal, so this won’t create a major issue.
Vintage Made in USA Fuhrman PQ-3 parametric EQ. This turns on and all knobs have been tested to make sure they appropriately alter the sound of whatever is plugged in to this. Parametric EQs are tough to judge beyond that, so this seems to be fully functional. I know Dime used a PQ-4, but the 3 and the 4 seemed similar and the 3 was what was available to me.
A 4 slot mini rack included with 8 SCREWS- so there are some screws missing. But these should not be hard to come by.
This is being sold AS-IS and I have accurately described the issues with each piece of gear as per when I tested them before listing this. This bundle has been priced to move
This is a fairly priced bundle of vintage Dime-inspired gear who hopefully goes to someone who can get the best out of it. Contact me with any question. But NO- I will not entertain any offers below what is listed, and NO- I can’t include any additional equipment beyond what is listed. Thanks!
