This is Pal. He is 3 years old. He’s a heeler mix. He needs a new home. He is VERY loved by us which makes this hard to do. His redeeming qualities include: his underbite, his fierce love he gives to his people, great and playful with other dogs, does fine with our chickens (they are not free ranging though) and tolerates me putting silly shirts on him. His less redeeming qualities: barks aggressively at the window if the mailman comes or if anyone walks past, doesn’t like anyone who doesn’t live inside the house.
He would be a great working dog. We have exhausted all means to give him the best chance with us but unfortunately we can no longer do it. He has been to obedience training. We adopted him and unfortunately any behavior issues were not disclosed to us prior to getting him. I really want him to succeed and thrive, and I’m hoping we don’t have to surrender him. All of this will he hard on us and our kids, but it’s the right thing to do for him.
