I am a collector of early Pentaxes. My preference is for black cameras but I have collected chrome ones as well while waiting to find black bodies. I have managed to replace most of my chrome bodies and now I have run out of display space – I just can’t keep them all!
This S3 (mfd. 1961-1969) was CLA’d and new shutter curtains installed recently by Eric Hendrickson. The body is in excellent physical except for a minor ding on the top cover. The Type 1 meter is in excellent condition and works as designed (although accuracy has not been tested). The Super-Takumar 55mm f/2 lens is in nearly new condition. The front cap works but was stepped on at some point.
Tripod/support items in the photos are not included.
