4.3L Vortec engine came out of a GMC Jimmy don’t know the year for sure but around '95. I got the vehicle at a scrap yard for parts and didn’t know the state of the engine but they said it didn’t start. So I took it apart and it appears good of course I’m not an expert though. Anyway right now it is stripped down except the crank and pistons and cam.
IT WILL NEED NEW:
Head gaskets probably crank bearings and cam bearings. And the cam is runnable but it looks a little rough. It’s always fun to cam it up a little though 😉.
