$750/mo with a year lease, "Master Suite" with full bath in a 3 Bedrooms / 2 Bath apartment, shared with 2 other somewhat older men occupying the other bedrooms.
For $750, we have a large (13'x11') master bedroom, including 2 double door closets and its own private full bathroom. Being on the second floor (stairs only) gives that room an actual view (as opposed to just other people's apartments!). Updated pictures posted show actual room and its bathroom. There is no carpeting, but space rugs can keep feet a bit warmer on bare hardwood flooring, and QUIET, bonus for daytime sleepers. The whole place is well insulated, even between rooms in the same apartment.
High Efficiency Washer and Dryer in the apt. No coins! Ours to use. Large kitchen space if you cook (or prep while someone else cooks). Unfurnished, with some limited available storage at apartment, other storage or garages available, but extra. $45 for apartment complex application background check when applying for the lease. Not "up front".
Great complex to live in, yards and apartments kept up year round, free off-street parking, $35 for carport, $60 for small garage. Licensed service animals are rent free, other pets welcome, though do have extra monthly fee (with additional charge separate from the $750 base payment). Everyone will have a $200 damage deposit as well.
We split Utilities charges between roommates, average is about $120 ($40 about per person now, highest this year was around $76 each, during brutal cold snap in January). The utilities are in addition to the rent.
On grounds we have available a swimming pool, hot tub, and workout room, gas BBQ and grill, gathering room for tenant use with large screen TV, pool table, good seating with fireplace, and a kitchen there as well, and a public walkway, which happens to border the complex. Multiple parks nearby as well. Easy walk to bus stops, Nom Nom, Subway, coffee places and eateries and shopping of all kinds, as Sprague and Sullivan intersection is 3 blocks nearby.
The newest roommate is pleasantly low key, and wanted both security and space (1200 sq/ft total we have), and likewise why I came here. Non party atmosphere, much more on the quiet end. Whoever applies and signs the lease will have equal say in decisions involving our shared spaces. No one is a boss, nor more "important" than the others. Thinking about "coming in and taking charge" might best be thought over again. That we call "drama". Both of us are allergic to that. Clean, pays monthly without delays and on time is expected. Courtesy. You are in. That's it. 420 okay, LGBTQ etc. Homo Sapiens that respects others as equals.
