This rod, which is a Sage Blank from 1982, was finished for me by my fishing partner. It has been fished once, and I used it in my casting classes. It is a 2pc 9'-0" 5-6wt up lock. The rod itself has no blemishes. The reels are, the early STH 567 with a spare spool lined w/ 6wt-f, the other reel is Argus from 2009 lined w/wolf 6wf triangle taper never used. This equipment would make a good starting kit for someone just getting interested in the sport of fly fishing, includes casting targets, tools. Included in this package is the manual that I wrote, I will give short overview of the casting stroke to the buyer, this offer is for $225.00. would like this equipment to go to someone who has the interest in getting into this sport.
