Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Underground Construction Supervisor to oversee and support field crews in the Spokane and Liberty Lake region. This role requires a strong field presence, leadership skills, and the ability to track production, ensure quality, and communicate effectively with both crews and the home office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support underground utility construction crews (fiber, conduit, trenching, HDD, etc.)
• Be physically present in the field daily to monitor progress and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently
• Track and report daily production rates, quantities installed, and crew performance
• Take clear, detailed job site photos to document progress, conditions, and completed work
• Ensure crews adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and company procedures
• Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays
• Coordinate with project managers and office staff to provide updates, reports, and job status
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
• Verify materials, equipment usage, and site readiness
• Assist with scheduling and workflow planning

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in underground utility construction (fiber preferred)
• Previous supervisory or crew lead experience required
• Strong knowledge of trenching, directional drilling, and conduit placement
• Ability to read and interpret construction prints and utility maps
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with smartphones/tablets for reporting, photos, and tracking
• Valid driver’s license
