HDB Marine is hiring a temporary part-time Truck Driver to do approximately 1-2 local (Spokane/CdA/Priest River) runs a week.
Preferences
Education – Required: High School Diploma. Valid drivers license with Class A CDL endorsement.
Experience – At least 5 years experience driving with CDL in trucks over 40,000# GVW.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities – Must have a clear understanding of all current federal and state laws related to hauling freight on flatbed trailers. Must have the ability to access condition of trucks and perform basic maintenance on trucks and trailers. Must have good organizational, and communication skills.
Physical – Must have use of limbs and senses as to accomplish daily tasks associated with this position. Must have good hand/eye coordination. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Mental – Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively in the English Language. Maintain professionalism at all times.
Working conditions – Working outside is normal to load and unload trucks and trailers. Work on the lake or in other areas may be required in support of Harrison Dock Builders.
