We have an open position for a Spokane based truck driver. We cover The PNW area, and have recently expanded into lanes to texas and back. I am looking for someone who is wiling to do long haul, 10-14 day trips. After a long haul trip we can keep you regional/local for a week, as we do have shorter lanes we service. Or it can be 2 weeks on, 1 week off. But primarily i need long haul drivers. We have a friendly team and we dont expect anyone to violate HOS rules.
Offering $0.65 per mile. Local and regional work would be hourly pay.
Equipment will be a sleeper cab, and 53ft dry van and Reefer trailers.
Duties
Operate tractor-trailer units in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and deliveries made.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards.
Experience
Minimum 2 years CDL Experience.
53ft trailer and sleeper truck combo experience.
Basic knowledge of how to keep a logbook
A friendly attitude to coworkers and customers
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
